funeral home directory

Today many people are shying away from traditional memorial services and choosing instead to create a memorable, personalized life celebration. Close family members and friends are also asked to speak on the subject, but may not know what to say.

Written by someone who is close to you, an obituary becomes an intimate view of what made you memorable to others. You could look upon a eulogy as a funeral oration or tribute, but I rather like the idea of seeing as an opportunity to put in a good word for the loved one being honored. Appropriate humorous anecdotes may be interjected to lighten up the feeling of the audience.

There are those instances where the arrangements of funeral burial services are handled by the deceased prior to their death. They can also be given as a story of a variety of portraits of important moments, snapshots of tender times, gently humorous anecdotes, and the like. Using poetry to help with grief, to express love or pain and to memorialize a friend or family member is very powerful and will be appreciated by others who have experienced a loss.
