Not everyone is going to feel the same way about the loved on that you have lost so the poems may seem irrelevant to them. Death is never easy, there is nothing to cushion its blow or minimize the pain of it.
While such responses are fairly common, there's really no cause for worry. If you have been asked to deliver a eulogy, appreciate the honor you have been given. With the help and concern of other people, this process is made a little easier for the people who are in grief.
Once you've gathered your information, decide how you will organize it. The tapestry of their human life is finished and hanging in the living room of God's house. Do not try to embellish your story with half truths or lies.
