examples of funeral announcement cards - Fedding Planning 101

Knowing how to put together a public tribute for a funeral is a tough thing. It is considered a great honor to be asked to write a eulogy and while the whole purpose of an eulogy is to speak from the heart while commemorating the person who has passed away, there are a few things to remember to help you along with writing an eulogy.

Still others choose to hold a memorial service following the burial in a place special to the deceased. It's a good idea to turn to your church for help. Just having someone else on the stand by will put your mind at ease.

If required, have a friend or family member stand by your side for support. Humor in good taste relieves stress and anxiety, and it's almost certain to be welcomed by the funeral guests. Focus your writings on what the deceased did during their lifetimes, and not on the sadness of their death.

Funeral services are meant to celebrate the lives of lost love ones. No one will be timing you, with a stopwatch, so take your time.
